Greetings from the Plumb's team! Each month, we share these notes to keep you informed about all the updates happening behind the scenes at Plumb's. You'll find information on new and updated content, feature enhancements, functionality improvements, bug fixes, and more.
Here’s a roundup of key updates from August.
Content Updates
The following updates cover content in Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs (prescribing information only) and Plumb’s Pro (diagnostic and treatment information + prescribing information).
Our editorial team has been hard at work this month with our extensive network of board-certified specialists and peer reviewers to release new Dx & Tx monographs (Pro), provide crucial updates on drugs, and get new handouts into your hands for clients.
🔔 Spotlight: New Dx & Tx on Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)
FIP has been considered almost 100% fatal—until now. Thankfully, novel antiviral therapies like GS-441524 and remdesivir are giving cats with FIP a new lease on life. Take a tour of our updated monograph on FIP to get the particulars about these potentially life-saving treatments. Plus, discover all the details about how to diagnose this disease and find out what remission rates to expect with treatment.
If you’re subscribed to Plumb’s Pro, find this new Dx & Tx monograph with a quick search in the app, or click here to check it out.
You’ll also find new drug monographs for GS-441524 and remdesivir, whether you’re subscribed to Plumb’s Pro or Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs. Just search by the drug name for all the details on prescribing—and to share the drug handouts with pet owners.

Feature and Functionality Updates
Over the last few months, we've been hard at work behind the scenes building a brand new Plumb's Pro feature. Our product team has sworn us to secrecy for now, but we can tell you that this feature will fill a gap in your diagnostic workup process. We'll be counting on your feedback as we refine and improve it after launch, so keep your eye on your email and be ready to share your thoughts once it's live.
We also have a few exciting announcements coming up as we complete work on major enhancements to our client drug handouts. Stay tuned for more!
Bug Fixes
One bug to note this month! The iPhone app was crashing when the keyboard opened on the Print handout screen. This has been fixed and you should now be able to easily add notes for the client prior to printing handouts.
